Based in the small community of Willalooka in South Australia, Jaime Prosser's work is deeply informed by her rural surroundings and the broader natural landscape.
Her works create a sense of movement, exploring the fragility and resilience of nature, evident in her meticulous attention to detail. With intricate patterns and forms Jaime challenges the viewer to engage closely with the work.
In 2024 she was named a finalist in the renown Kedumba Drawing Award. Following this was recently selected as a finalist in the 2025 Perry Prize For Drawing and the Dobell Drawing Prize, one of Australia’s most prestigious awards for contemporary drawing. This recognition highlights the technical precision and emotional resonance of her artworks, which stand out for their capacity to evoke a sense of place and intimacy with the subject.

Billboard Project
Dukes Highway, Keith SA
I'm very excited to have my painting 'Tatiara Flowering Gum' on display larger than life on a massive billboard in my local town Keith SA.
This project was made possible by the wonderful Walkway Gallery and the Australian Government's Regional Arts Fund, which supports the arts in regional and remote Australia.
